Mặc dù gặp nhiều khó khăn do ảnh hưởng của dịch COVID-19, Techfest Vietnam 2020 vẫn được mong đợi sẽ là cơ hội quý báu để các nhà đầu tư, quỹ đầu tư trong nước và quốc tế cũng như các doanh nghiệp khởi nghiệp gặp gỡ, chia sẻ kinh nghiệm và kết nối đầu tư. Với hình thức gặp gỡ (matching) trực tiếp - trực tuyến, Techfest 2020 dự kiến sẽ thu hút khoảng 250 lượt kết nối đặc biệt giữa các quỹ đầu tư nội địa và startup tiềm năng đã được thử lửa qua dịch Covid để bứt phá trong tương lai.

Ở quy mô quốc gia, TECHFEST VIETNAM 2020 đã nhận được sự quan tâm của nhiều nhà đầu tư, nhà khởi nghiệp với hơn 30.000 lượt đăng ký tham dự. Một điểm nổi bật khác của TECHFEST là tỷ lệ lệ chuyên gia, nhà đầu tư quốc tế luôn đạt trên 40% qua các năm.

 

Năm 2019, lần đầu tiên TECHFEST được tổ chức ở quy mô quốc tế tại 3 hệ sinh thái phát triển là Hoa Kỳ, Hàn Quốc và Singapore. Sự kiện đã thành công trong việc giúp hơn 20 startup nổi bật và tiềm năng của Việt Nam có cơ hội được tiếp cận với thị trường và hơn 100 nhà đầu tư quốc tế.

 

Kể từ năm 2015 cho đến nay, TECHFEST đã nhận được sự tham gia của hơn 500 nhà đầu tư, quỹ đầu tư trong nước, quốc tế với gần 700 lượt kết nối đầu tư với tổng giá trị cam kết đầu tư gần 20 triệu đô la Mỹ. Trong đó, quán quân TECHFEST VIETNAM 2018 - startup Abivin đã được giới thiệu tham dự và giành chiến thắng tại sân chơi thế giới - Startup World Cup.

Despite many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Techfest Vietnam 2020 is still expected to create a valuable opportunity for investors, VCs as well as startups to meet, share business experience and seek for investment connections. With both direct and online matching, Techfest 2020 is expected to achieve approximately 250 connections especially from domestic VCs/investors with potential startups which sucessfully step out from the true test of their vitality during Covid to thrive.

On a national scale, TECHFEST VIETNAM 2020 has received the attention of many investors and startups with more than 30,000 registration entries. Another highlight of TECHFEST is that the proportion of international experts and investors is always more than 40% throughout the years.

In 2019, TECHFEST was first held on an international scale in 3 developed ecosystems, the United States, South Korea and Singapore.
